APP India is looking for a document controller to work in their Pondicherry office. Position Description:- Duties. 1.Convey work instruction between Project co ordinators in Australia and detailers and draftsmen in Pondicherry office. Method of communication could be email, skype chat calls, telephone calls, Client project management software like Aconex, DMS ProjectWeb or anyother. 2.Transfer cad files between Pondicherry office and Australian office using email, ftp or any other software assigned for the project 3.Record revisions level of incoming drawings check and compare against document transmittal that the drawings used by Pondicherry Office is the current level 4.Record time sheets of Individuals and maintain a time log for work carried out for billing purposes. 5.Do small office administrative work, like printing drawings, taking data back up. 6.Organize staff amenities, stationary, pay small bills. 7.Prepare budget statement and cash book (12 lines only per month) 8.Allocate and manage jobs to detailers and draftees. You will be working under Venkat who is the Drawing office Manager. To qualify for this work 1. You must have excellent spoken and written English. 2. You must be well versed with use of computer, especially file management(Window explorer) 3.Eventually you are supposed have a good understanding of the business we do and pick up relevant jargon. Working hours - Start time is 6 AM Location is Pondicherry Town. Position type - Permanent Compensation - Above average compensation by local standards.
