Minimum Pocket Depth for Coloumns
What is the minimum pocket depth required for rebated coloumns
The minimum washer size is 3 mm. This could be different. If nothing is mentioned use 3 mm.
The minimum bolt stick out should be 1 pitch. For M20 it is 2.5 mm. Use 10 mm stick out.
Also there is grout. Pockets when cast could be of different depths. Use design grout of 15 mm minimum.
The top of the bolt should be 35 mm below slab level to prevent concrete Cracking.
Hence to be practical use 100 mm pocket depth with a base plate thickness of 16 mm and bolt size of 20 mm.

Dimensioning Curves Using Jigs (AutoCAD .net, Precast)
This is a beautiful little plug-in – it allows you to dimension a curve – a complex curve with a jig. It allows the user to choose the types of dimensions that he wants. It’s pretty cool. I must do an entire series on jigs. And I will slowly, when I get the chance.

The command is then able to use these objects. The question is, how to obtain a selection of objects using the Tekla API…

We are revisiting a post I made earlier. Here’s the problem. You are viewing a Tekla drawing. But you have no idea what you are looking at, or where it is. This macro will take you to that very assembly in the model. It’s actually quite handy. And here is the previous post where I…
